Terms of Service
Last updated 19 August 2026
ScriptSift is operated by GCC Grow, LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using ScriptSift, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What ScriptSift does
You upload a screenplay. ScriptSift extracts its text, splits it into scenes, and uses an AI model to identify production elements — cast, props, locations, wardrobe, vehicles, and so on — each one paired with the line of the script it came from. You review, correct, and export the result.
ScriptSift is a drafting aid, not a substitute for a professional breakdown. AI analysis is imperfect: it can miss elements, invent categories, or misread an unusual format. Every element is presented with its source line precisely so you can check it. You are responsible for reviewing the output before relying on it for scheduling, budgeting, insurance, or any production decision.
Your screenplay stays yours
You keep every right you already had in anything you upload. We claim no ownership of your screenplay, your breakdown, or your exports. We do not sell your content, publish it, share it with other users, or use it to train AI models.
You grant us only the narrow permission needed to run the service: to store your file, send scene text to our AI provider for analysis, and return the result to you. Nothing more.
You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.
Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
- One person per account. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Give us a real email address — it is how we reach you about your account.
Credits and payment
- Breakdowns are paid for with script credits. One credit covers one screenplay, at $49 per credit.
- A credit covers that screenplay completely — including retrying failed scenes and reprocessing scenes after you edit them. You are charged once per screenplay, not per run and not per scene.
- Credits do not expire.
- Uploading, parsing, reviewing, and editing scenes are free. Only the AI breakdown consumes a credit.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Refunds
- Unused credits: refundable in full within 14 days of purchase. Email us and we will return them.
- Used credits: once a breakdown has run, that credit is spent — the analysis cost has already been incurred on our side — so it is not refundable as a matter of course.
- If we failed you: if a breakdown fails for a reason that is our fault and we cannot put it right, tell us and we will refund that credit. We would rather fix it than keep money for something that did not work.
Fair use
To keep costs predictable there are limits on how much analysis a single account can run in a day, and on how large a single screenplay can be. If you hit a limit and have a legitimate reason to exceed it, get in touch.
Do not use ScriptSift to break the law, to process material you have no right to, or to attack, overload, reverse-engineer, or resell the service.
Availability
ScriptSift is a small, independent product. We do not promise uptime, and we may change or discontinue features. If we ever shut the service down, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data first.
Ending your account
You may delete your projects or stop using ScriptSift at any time. Deleting a project removes its screenplay file, its scenes, and its breakdown. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.
Disclaimer and liability
ScriptSift is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including production costs, scheduling errors, or lost opportunities arising from your use of the output. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use ScriptSift after that means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.
